Ranger came to us from Tanasi Bluff Australian Shepherds & Miniature American Shepherds located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. He was one of a litter of only three puppies.
My attraction to Ranger was his stunning stance; big, strong, and proud. You could tell from his pictures that he was going to be majestic: having a thick build with well balanced bone structure and possessing those striking blue eyes.
Tanasi specializes in breeding and raising genetically health cleared puppies. I had been following this breeder for quite some time, waiting for the right puppy to become available and I think we hit the jack pot!
Ranger fathered 9 litters before being retired.
We tragically lost Ranger unexpectedly after his neuter surgery in 2023.
